The Financial & Accounting Office is part of the Assessment and Partnership Development, a unit of McKimmon Center for Extension & Continuing Education (MCE&CE). All financial functions for the six units of MCE&CE are centralized within this office. The office provides financial services, budget management, and human resource management for temporary employees. The office is responsible for administering and monitoring internal controls to ensure reliability of financial reporting. Interpretation and clarification of federal, state, university and internal policies and procedures are provided to all the MCE&CE units and their employees to ensure compliance.
The Finance & Accounting Office is also an Authorized Accounts Receivable Center. The office is responsible for registering and billing clients, billing for space usage, monitoring outstanding invoices and following the collection process according to the guidelines established by Attorney General's Office. All payments are receipted and processed in this office. The office processes all invoices, travel reimbursements, Interdepartmental Transactions and Journal Vouchers.NC State University
