What People Are Saying

"In the wake of this week's very successful Institute for Emerging Issues (IEI) Forum, I want to acknowledge the incredible support IEI received from across North Carolina State University (NCSU)...As you know, this year's attendance numbers pushed capacity limits at the McKimmon Center. This was true in terms of both physical and staffing constraints. Yet, without exception, the staff at McKimmon Center, including-but not limited to-Ben Garner, Judy Long, Rob Chapman and Brad Eargle, patiently and creatively partnered with IEI to accommodate the needs of our attendees. As a result, attendees raved about the facility...The unbelievably high audience feedback and media coverage make clear that the Forum served to showcase N.C. State University as a national leader in energy policy."

- Anita R. Brown-Graham, Institute for Emerging Issues, Raleigh, NC

"Here's a humongous thank you for all you did to help make our 4th Annual Raleigh Neighborhood Exchange the best ever! We have had so many compliments about the success of the event, and it wouldn't have been possible without the assistance you rendered. Thanks for being patient with me and for helping to guide me through the maze of event planning!

"There were several compliments given to McKimmon Center and the consensus was that this was the perfect venue for our event. I know that it was especially mind-easing to have the technical assistance for the conference rooms – it saved us a whole lot of trouble!

"Thanks also for being so easy to work with. You made this experience a much better one for me personally and I still have some sanity left, thanks to you!!"

- Charlene Holmes Willard, Community Specialist, City of Raleigh Community Services Department, Raleigh, NC

"I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! SAVMA Symposium definitely could not have run as smoothly as it did without the help of the staff. Neither I nor my committee have ever planned an event of this magnitude as we are full-time students. Because of people like Judy, Carmen, Freddie, Ben, Mike, Rob, and everyone else, we were able to pull off a very professional, very successful veterinary conference (which is actually the fourth largest veterinary conference in the nation!) The facilities were immaculate and every request, no matter how big or small, was met with efficiency and a smile! I really, really enjoyed working with the McKimmon Center and will certainly recommend it and its staff to other people for use for events!"

- Bryna Riley, College of Veterinary Medicine, NC State University, Raleigh, NC

"The U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the Global Anti-Counterfeiting and Piracy Initiative greatly appreciate your participation in the Anti-Counterfeiting Brand Integrity Protection Conference: Raleigh, North Carolina. By all accounts, the event was a huge success bringing together more than 150 businesses, associations, government officials, and members of the media.

"Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to help with the logistical needs of the event. It certainly is a difficult job, but the fluid and graceful manner in which you handled everything truly made the conference the success it was. We could not have pulled off this exciting and highly successful event without you. Thank you and I hope to work with you again in the future."

- Rob Calia, Senior Manager, Anti-Counterfeiting and Piracy Initiative, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Washington, D.C.

"You and your staff were tremendously helpful in making yesterday's Economic Development Forum a resounding success. Your ability to plan the complex exhibit arrangements without the aid of any software astounded me. It took me three days to plan it out, and even then it wasn't correct.
