McKimmon TeleCenter

Videoconferencing can enhance communication and expand your reach and accessibility to a worldwide audience. Our state-of-the-art videoconferencing tools help your organization:

The TeleCenter seats 24 guests and is one of several computer labs available for daily rental at the McKimmon Center. Visitors enjoy full use of McKimmon Center amenities including ample free parking, wireless networking, cafe, copy center, mail services and more. So, whether you need to interact with colleagues across campus or around the globe, McKimmon TeleCenter can get you there.

The McKimmon TeleCenter is a multimedia video conference facility featuring:

• High Speed Internet Access (wired 100MB - wireless A/B/G)
• Use of 24 Dell Latitude® laptop computers
• State-of-the-art presentation tools
• 2-way videoconferencing capabilities through NC REN networks or IP to IP
• Video downlink capabilities using either KU or C band
• VHS or SVHS Video Capture services
• Networked remote controlled cameras and microphones
• Full-time technical support for your event
• Multiple user license for Facilitate.com

Online collaboration and decision making tools:

FacilitatePro supports both face-to-face and distributed meetings with problem-solving and decision-making tools that enable group idea generation, data capture and prioritization, surveying, action planning and documentation. FacilitatePro goes beyond one-way web-based presentation tools to facilitate two-way collaboration and exchange. Everyone adds ideas to organized agenda items while viewing and building on the ideas of the whole group. The group can then prioritize the ideas in a variety of ways to acheive rapid, focused decision making.
